User.ReadBasic.All allows the app to retrieve basic user properties like ID, display name, first and last name, email address, and photo. Today only delegated User.ReadBasic.All is available. We heard customer feedback to enable app-only User.ReadBasic.All permission as well, to limit their app access to only basic user properties.
With the release of app-only User.ReadBasic.All, we also fixed a bug, which enabled the app to filter on properties it shouldn’t access with User.ReadBasic.All. The issue is now resolved, ensuring that apps with delegated permission can no longer filter on unauthorized properties.

Microsoft Teams users will soon be able to control how they get notified in meeting chats through RSVP to their meetings. When they decline a meeting, they will not receive notifications or see the chats in chat list; when they accept a meeting, they will receive notification for all new messages. This release of Microsoft Teams Meeting ID will be rolling out across Microsoft Teams Desktop, Mobile and Web and will provide an additional way for users to control their chat list by selecting which meetings they want to receive message updates from.

We will be introducing a new Teams Meeting Configuration policy setting that will allow tenant admins to disable all Teams Meeting feedback surveys for unauthenticated users if needed.
