The May 2024 Windows security update is now available

The May 2024 security update is now available for Windows 11 and all supported versions of Windows 10. We recommend that you install these updates promptly. Highlights for the Windows 11, versions 23H2 and 22H2 update: 
  • This security update includes improvements that were a part of update KB5036980 (released April 23, 2024). 
  • This update addresses a known issue that might cause your VPN connection to fail. This occurs after you install the update dated April 9, 2024, or later.

REMINDER The June 2024 security update is the last security release for Enterprise, Education, and IoT Enterprise editions of Windows 10, version 21H2. Windows 10, version 22H2, will be the final version of Windows 10, and all editions will remain in support with monthly security updates through October 14, 2025. Enterprise and IoT Enterprise LTSB/LTSC editions of version 21H2 will continue to have mainstream support until January 12, 2027.
