We’re releasing a set of updates for Exact Data Match (EDM) that will give you better visibility over EDM events and enable you to receive notifications on EDM data upload status.

To provide greater clarity in Service health and Message center, we are consolidating communications for Microsoft 365 Defender services under the service listing ‘Microsoft 365 Defender’. Once this change is in place, the service listing for ‘Microsoft Defender for Endpoint’ will be removed, and future communications related to the service will appear under ‘Microsoft 365 Defender’.
When this will happen
We’re updating the Billing notifications page to make it easier to manage who receives billing notification emails in your organization. Additional settings like your organization’s preferred language are now on this page so that all info about billing notifications is in one place.
Microsoft 365 provides baseline, volume-level encryption through BitLocker. Service Encryption provides an added layer of data-at-rest encryption at the application level. Customer Key allows you to control your organization’s encryption keys.
As an application level encryption service, Customer Key support exists today for Exchange Online, Skype for Business, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business workloads in Microsoft’s data centers. As communicated in MC220490 (August ’20), Microsoft 365 apps and services will be focusing their efforts on modern browser support over the coming year. As a result, Microsoft 365 apps and services will no longer support Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) after August 17, 2021; after this date, Microsoft 365 apps and services will be unable to connect, or have a degraded feature experience, when accessed on IE11.
