Mirror my video in Microsoft Teams meetings

Now you will no longer have to see the text flipped. Imagine a scenario in which a primary school teacher has a small whiteboard in hand and is trying to teach school kids basic alphabets. Or imagine you have a virtual background with text in it. While the user on the other end of the meeting can see the text correctly, you the text flipped. By providing you the option to un-mirror, you will be able to see the text correctly.

Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on Mac is retiring support of macOS Mojave [10.14]

Note: this message applies only to organizations with macOS devices in their environments.

Beginning December 15, 2021 , Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (formerly known as MDATP) will no longer support macOS version Mojave 10.14 Apple ended support for Mojave 10.14 in November 2021.

OneDrive: Sharing experience – “Copy Link”

Instead of a Copy link button, you’ll see an entire section where you can set permissions for the link and then copy it to share it with recipients. If you need to update the link permissions, you can do it directly from the Link Created dialog box as well.

Microsoft Lists: Share and comment icons appear for Grid view in edit mode

People will now see icons for sharing and commenting while hovering over an item in Grid edit mode, bringing to parity the same functionality when in Grid view.

SharePoint: SharePoint admin center – updated homepage dashboard for sovereign clouds

When you first land in the SharePoint admin center, we want it to be both familiar and useful at a glance. The idea is to provide a familiar experience, taking a similar design approach as the Microsoft admin center. You’ll see more and more cards and graphs appear over time so you can see insights on files, usage security, recommendations, training and so on. Microsoft Teams: Mirror my video

Mirror my video feature provides the user the option to un-mirror their video and thereby have the same view as the other users(s) in the meeting. By un-mirroring their video, the user will see the text correctly. No more flipped text in backgrounds or while holding a small whiteboard while teaching primary school kids. This feature is helpful in gallery, large gallery, ppt-content only sharing, and ppt-live scenarios.

Microsoft Teams: Detect Music Automatically

The previously released ML-based noise suppression is now enabled by default for most of our customers. ML-based noise suppression considers any non-speech signal picked up by the microphone as noise which
should be suppressed. To avoid suppressing music and to allow users to enable the new high-fidelity music mode, we have built an ML-based music detector which will inform the user whenever music is present through a notification. This will give the end user the choice whether music is indeed an
unwanted background noise, such as when calling into a meeting from a coffee shop, or if music is a desired signal, such as when participating in a music lesson.
