The advanced hunting table named DeviceTvmSoftwareInventoryVulnerabilities will be retired in favor of two new tables. Anti-malware policy : Common attachment filter : Additional file types block by default

The ‘Common attachment filter’ option in the ‘Anti-malware’ policy helps the Administrator configure the file types (based on file extension) which need to be blocked in the emails. This block action is applied anytime the file type of any attachment in the email matches this configurated file type list.

The current pre-configured list has 96 file types. Of these 96 file types, 10 files types are selected by default in the block list. When a new policy is created, these 10 file types are selected, to be blocked, by default. Administrator can make changes to this selection by selecting more file types or making changes to existing file types. If the Administrator chooses to extend this behavior to more file types, then this is possible using PowerShell option.

Lightweight Plans in Planner

With the upcoming “Meetings” solution: New hybrid work innovations in Microsoft Teams Rooms, Fluid, and Microsoft Viva, meeting participants can quickly capture tasks and expect them to automatically sync into the Microsoft 365 Task Ecosystem (Planner, To do/Outlook, and Teams Task app). To enable this, meetings create a plan in Planner for the captured tasks.

To support this more ad-hoc form of task tracking, Planner now supports plans that don’t require an M365 Group, which we are calling “Lightweight plans”. Instead of using Groups, access to these plans is determined by a simple list of members stored in Planner that can contain any user with a valid AAD ID in that tenant (more details below).
