Microsoft Defender for Office 365: DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) support for Advanced Delivery

We’re adding support for DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) domain entry to the Advanced Delivery policy. This enhancement enables security administrators to use DKIM domains in addition or instead of P1 sending domains to configure their third-party phishing simulations.

This option adds flexibility as well as another secure method for third-party phishing simulation vendors that utilize large number of P1 sending domains in their phishing simulation campaigns. Vendors can instead sign all their domains with one or a few DKIM domains. The end user (security administrator) will then just need to specify the DKIM domain in their advanced delivery policy configuration.

Microsoft Teams Room on Windows – In meeting experience update

We will be updating the Teams meeting roster (viewable on the Teams Rooms console) to closely align with the current experience available on the Teams desktop application. In addition to this, we will be making the roster position on the console better align with that of the Teams desktop application while adding a touch friendly interface for participant options. Users will also benefit from a unified universal bar that will provide in meeting call controls for presenters and attendees for Teams meetings, large meetings support, and Live events (presenter only).

SPO View in File Explorer available in Microsoft Edge

We recommend using the OneDrive sync app to sync SharePoint files with your computer, rather than using View in File Explorer. Sync with OneDrive Files On-Demand helps you work with all your cloud files in File Explorer without having to download all the files and use storage space on your device. In some special cases, we understand that some customers may still have a need to use View in File Explorer to access modern document libraries. Currently, The View in File Explorer option is only available in IE11. As we have announced in MC257029, IE11 support for Office 365 services and apps has retired as of August 17, 2021.

Starting in Microsoft Edge Stable version 93, you can enable the View in File Explorer capability on SharePoint Online for Modern Document Libraries. For this experience to be visible and work for your users, you will need to enable the Microsoft Edge policy “Configure the View in File Explorer feature for SharePoint pages in Microsoft Edge” and update your SharePoint Online tenant configuration.
