Microsoft 365 compliance center: Insider Risk Management – Enhancements to Export Alerts

For the Export alerts feature, we have increased the frequency in which alerts are sent to the Office 365 Management Activity API to every hour (previously every 12 hours) so updated alert information is more readily available. Insider Risk Management in Microsoft 365 correlates various signals from the chip to the cloud to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, security and policy violations, and more. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Microsoft 365 compliance center: Insider Risk Management – Define priority user groups and detect data leaks by priority users

Define users in your organization that need closer inspection based on factors such as their position, level of access to sensitive information, or risk history. Once created, these groups can be included in certain policy templates, such as detecting data leaks by users included in a priority user group. New policy settings available for Microsoft Feedback Portal

We are introducing a new policy for admins to be able to manage user access to the Feedback portal (announced in MC289676). The Feedback portal allows your users to submit community feedback and interact with (upvote, comment) feedback submitted by other users. It also allows for users to track and follow-up on feedback they submit to Microsoft.

The feedback we collect from your users is available for you to review in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Keeping the feedback experiences enabled will let you see what your users are saying about the products they are using.

Microsoft 365 compliance center: Communication Compliance – Expanded Optical Character Recognition to support handwritten and printed text (U.S. Government clouds)

Expanding optical character recognition beyond text extracted from images or PDFs to include handwritten and printed text, which will then be evaluated against the customers policy conditions (such as keywords matching for threatening language), further reducing an organizations policy violation risk.
