Direct routing service is adding capacity across regions and that capacity falls into already published Teams IP ranges and domains. Please make sure that all published Teams specific endpoints are permitted for your Direct Routing scenarios.

Roaming bandwidth control is a new capability that allows admins to set dynamic bandwidth policies which are based upon the geographic location of users’ Teams clients. We will be retiring the File Share Embed dialog from Office for the Web (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio) beginning July 1st 2021. Play My Emails in Outlook for iOS and Android will soon be rolling out in English worldwide. The feature has rolled out in UK, India, Australia, and Canada (MC224750, November 2020).

This new release will allow users to use a virtual laser pointer and make ink annotations when presenting through PowerPoint Live in Teams. Just as a presenter would use a physical laser pointer in a room, PowerPoint Live allows users to highlight by pointing at different places or data so the audience can easily follow along. This is rolling out on Microsoft Teams desktop, web and Mac.
