In addition to the currently enabled email notifications, Viva Pulse will begin to send notifications through Teams Chat. Users will only receive Teams Chat notifications if they have the Viva Pulse Teams app installed. As the admin, you can either 1) install the Viva Pulse Teams app on users in your tenant through a Teams app setup policy or 2) please encourage users to visit the Teams app store to download the Viva Pulse Teams app to ensure users can receive the Teams Chat notifications.
Through the Viva Pulse chatbot, Teams Chat notifications will be sent for the following scenarios:
The customization control in the Viva Pulse Admin Experience will soon be managed through centralized feature access management in Viva through PowerShell. This customization control provides admins the ability to turn on or off customization capabilities for survey authors to add their own questions to existing stock templates or edit existing stock questions. With centralized feature access management, admins can configure access at the tenant level, group level (using AAD groups or M365 Groups), or at the user level, for maximum flexibility.>
When this will happen:
We are excited to introduce a new capability for SharePoint and OneDrive Information Barriers.
With this feature, SharePoint administrators can opt-in to allow applications running in app-only mode (without user context) to access Information Barriers (IB) protected sites. You can try this feature by enabling the control using SharePoint Online PowerShell module.
Today in Planner, two types of plans are supported: group-based plans, which are shared through a Microsoft 365 group, and Lightweight plans, which are shared through a simple list of members stored in Planner (rosters). Planner now also supports a new type of plan called Personal plans. Personal plans are shared only with the creator, who is the sole member and owner of the plan. These plans can be shared with a Microsoft 365 group at any time but will not be accessible by anyone other than the creator until then.
To enable Personal plans, we are introducing a new type of container in the Planner service, which is called “user containers”. Personal plans are simply the plans attached to Planner user containers.
A guided workflow will equip analysts with the requisite insights to better diagnose the impact of a change on cross-functional collaboration patterns; the insights surfaced are powered by ONA metrics and are visualized via simple and intuitive network graphs which facilitates the detection of changes in collaboration before/after a large-scale change or transition, such as re-org.
Users with iCloud accounts will now be able to add the accounts to the new Outlook for Windows.
We are releasing additional manager-controlled privacy settings in the Shifts app. Frontline managers will be able to set how far in the past their employees can view data in schedule view, to manage employees’ views of each other’s breaks and notes, and to import and export reports for time-off schedules, open shifts, and assigned shifts.
Expanded view of the topic card will now allow users to review the information on the topic and make quick edits to improve the topic.
