Microsoft Copilot Chat will update its AI Disclaimer experience starting late November 2025, making the disclaimer off by default with an admin toggle to enable it. Enabled disclaimers show bolded text and allow custom URLs. All users see the input box and disclaimer without needing a Copilot license.

Microsoft Purview | Content Explorer – enhanced tag (SIT, labels) filter at UI layer

Microsoft Purview Content Explorer will introduce Classifier Scoping, allowing admins to filter data by classifiers, sensitivity, and retention labels to reduce noise. Rolling out from November 2025 to January 2026, scoped views can be saved and reused, with no workflow changes or opt-in required.

Vulnerable devices report enhancements – simplified filters and performance improvements

Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management’s Vulnerable Devices Report is being streamlined with simplified filters (only RBAC device group filter), removal of a widget, and report history limited to 30 days. Changes improve clarity and performance, require no action, and will roll out to all tenants soon.

New: Follow Threads from Discover feed in Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is introducing a “Follow thread” feature allowing users to follow posts from the Discover feed or Channels. Followed threads appear in a new “Followed threads” view in the Chat app. The feature rolls out from mid-November to early December 2025, enabled by default with no admin action needed.
