We’ve made some improvements to the title area on top of the page experience.

1 – Title area is removable now, which is no longer required on your page.
2 – Rebranded the title area as a Banner web part with new layouts! You can add one or more banner(s) to any column of your page, including a full-width section.

Outlook: Show online archive storage in the new Outlook for Windows and Web

With this latest update, users can now easily view their online archive storage directly within the Outlook application. Voicemail: Automatic activation of out of office (OOF) greetings based on OOF Calendar events to be retired

The voicemail feature that automatically activates an out-of-office greeting based on an out-of-office event in Outlook calendar will be retired in early June 2024 to reduce costs and strengthen customer data protection. Going forward, end users can manage their OOF greetings with two available options in the Teams client. It is recommended to notify all users of this change.

“User consent to apps” setting in the Microsoft 365 portal to be retired

The “User consent to Apps” setting in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center will be retired in early April 2024, and users are recommended to use the user consent settings in the Entra portal instead. No changes will be made to existing settings, but admins will no longer be able to edit the policy using the Microsoft 365 admin center. Users can set their tenant-wide user consent policy through the Entra portal. No preparation is needed, but users needing to view or edit their tenant-wide consent settings should use the experience in the Entra portal.

Microsoft Teams: Meeting Options categorization

Microsoft Teams is introducing categories within Meeting Options to provide increased clarity and help organizers configure their meetings according to their needs. The categories will be available throughout the meeting lifecycle in Microsoft Teams. The rollout will begin in April 2024 and complete by late-May 2024. Default meeting options are still determined by an org’s IT admin, but organizers and co-organizers can override them for a specific meeting. The categories are only available in the new Teams client during scheduling and web (excluding Safari). The categories are coming to in-meeting Meeting Options later.

Microsoft Teams Events eDiscovery and legal hold support will be available via Microsoft Purview for compliance needs starting from early April 2024. Tenant admins can use Purview instead of SharePoint. No action is needed to prepare for this change.

Microsoft Teams: View, download, and delete Microsoft OneDrive for Business transcript files

Microsoft Teams will save meeting transcript files in OneDrive for Business for transcription-only meetings. Users can view, download, and delete transcript files from one place instead of two. The feature will roll out in April 2024 and will affect organizations that use transcription. No action is needed to prepare for this change.
