Users will be able to browse, multiselect and attach files from SharePoint Sites to a chat or channel conversation in the mobile app.

The Microsoft Copilot app will be available in classic Outlook for Windows, starting with a Public Preview in early May 2024 and achieving General Availability by early June 2024. This feature comes with a qualifying Copilot license and requires no admin action prior to rollout.

Microsoft Defender for Office 365 is changing the subject line format for end-user reported notification messages to improve readability and rule creation. The rollout starts late May 2024 and ends mid-June 2024. No action is required from users as existing settings remain unaffected.

Auto-Expanding Archives are a component that provides customers the ability to grow their mailbox archives over the normal 100 GB quota limit.

Admins will be able to use “available” assignment type for DMG and unmanaged PKG app types for macOS. This enables end users to browse and install these apps in the Mac Company Portal.

With this feature, end users can delete non-empty document library folders containing many files on a site managed by a retention policy. Additionally, this feature ensures that folders covered under a Retention policy and that have been deleted don’t reappear for users who sync a document library offline using OneDrive for Business.

Leaders will have a new report showing how their team invests time in meetings and opportunities to review meetings to reclaim time. Individuals will have improved meeting review insights in the Viva Insights app and new in-line nudges in Outlook to encourage them to be thoughtful when creating new high-cost meetings.

Two new settings to improve the user experience when responding to meeting invitations: (1) do not delete invitation email after RSVPing and (2) auto-decline if the attendee’s calendar shows as busy. These features will be available in the new Outlook for Windows and web.

Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention is introducing a new ‘send email notification’ remediation action and customizable email templates. These enhancements, available in Public Preview in late May 2024 and General Availability in late June 2024, allow for dynamic and efficient incident communication, with an audit trail for actions taken. No admin action is required before the rollout. Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 373310 is associated with this update.
