Recent SharePoint admin actions

We are delighted to announce a new feature release for the SharePoint admin center. With the recent actions panel, you can track progress of site setting changes you made from the Active sites page. A premium version of this feature is offered as part of Microsoft Syntex – SharePoint Advanced Management. The premium version allows you to review your most recent actions in the SharePoint admin center up to the last 30 days. Starting in the beginning of March, this feature will be rolled out to all organizations. You can try this feature by selecting “Your recent actions” on the Active Sites page in the SharePoint admin center. Please refer to the below documentation for more details about the feature:

Microsoft Purview Records Management – New actions in Microsoft Power Automate integration (preview)

To provide greater process flexibility and extensibility, we integrated the ability to trigger a Power Automate flow when a retention label in Microsoft Purview Records Management expires, this capability is currently in public preview. We are now adding two new actions to the Microsoft 365 Compliance connector – ‘Apply a retention label on the item’ and ‘Trigger a new instance of the flow if an item can’t be located’ to unlock more scenarios on this integration.

Outlook: New Outlook for Windows and web – Language Sync for accounts

Users will have the option to enable language sync between their accounts and the new Outlook for Windows and web clients. The option can be found in Settings in those clients, once enabled it will sync the language a user has set in “MyAccount” with the Outlook clients mentioned. This means, the language that a user has set in “MyAccount” will start to be used in Outlook. This feature will be off by default and users can choose to opt-in.
