FindTime add-in is being removed and replaced with Scheduling Poll as a native feature

The FindTime add-in will stop working and be removed from Outlook for Windows, Web and Mac. Scheduling Poll is the replacement feature, which is built directly into Outlook clients for all users as a native feature.

Outlook Browser extension is being retired

As we focus our efforts on improving the Outlook on Edge sidebar, which offers a more seamless and integrated experience for our users, we are retiring the Outlook browser extension. and it will not be accessible after November 30, 2023. This applies to both Edge and Chrome browsers.

Simplify your Windows 11 upgrade experience with Intune

A new capability is available for users of the Windows Update for Business deployment service. You no longer need to worry about creating and maintaining eligibility groups for devices not ready for Windows 11. Now, you can use Microsoft Intune or the Microsoft Graph API to deploy Windows 11 upgrades with assurance that any ineligible devices would be automatically updated to the latest available version of Windows 10. Changes in CSPM support – CSPM will now be supported only in “Microsoft Defender for Cloud”

We will be retiring the Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) support from “Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps” and officially moving it to “Microsoft Defender for Cloud” beginning late November 2023. We recommend the reconfiguration of CSPM tool in “Microsoft Defender for Cloud”, which is where we will continue to invest our development resources.  

This message is complementary to the banners we displayed in the last year in CSPM related pages in “Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps” and the notes in our documentation pages notifying these upcoming changes in 2023.

The Who bot within Teams was designed to help you find information about anyone in your organization. As we are working to improve the functionality delivered in this feature and provide a better user experience the current version of the Who bot will be retired. Microsoft Purview Data Lifecycle Management: Upcoming retirement of SharePoint Online Record Center site features

Microsoft Purview Data Lifecycle Management and Microsoft Purview Records Management features offer organizations flexibility and a scalable solution to proactively retain or delete content in Microsoft 365.
