Upcoming, Python will no longer be on macOS version 12.3. Because of this, we are updating our onboarding scripts for macOS and Linux to run over Bash instead of running over Python.

Migrating the Safe Links Block List to Tenant Allow Block List

Beginning in June organizations will no longer have the ability to add to the Safe Links Block List in the Global Setting menu. Following this, we will attempt to migrate the Safe Links Block List to the Tenant Allow Block List (TABL) on behalf of the organization. New Admin PowerShell control for Loop components

In response to customer feedback, we are introducing a new PowerShell control, IsLoopEnabled to control Loop components experiences in Microsoft 365. Now admins can control Loop components independently from other experiences. This allows admins to be able to disable Loop components while keeping the new Whiteboard in OneDrive enabled.

Additionally, you no longer need to set IsFluidEnabled to True to enable other Fluid Framework powered experiences. We highly recommend admins to stop using IsFluidEnabled because it will be retired later this year. The property will only be available until the November 2022 release of SharePoint Online Management Shell on November 25, 2022.

Configuration Change: Tenants using Management API notifications service must update endpoints to support TLS 1.2

Azure Information Protection has now retired the use of Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1 and begun enforcing TLS 1.2 for all components and as part of a long-term shift to refuse legacy protocol and cipher suite connections, the Office 365 Management Activity API notifications service now utilizes only the transport layer security (TLS) 1.2 protocol. The move to TLS 1.2 is to ensure that our service is secure by default and in alignment with the rest of Microsoft 365 services as previously communicated (MC126199 in Dec 2017, MC128929 in Feb 2018, MC186827 in July 2019, MC218794 in July 2020, MC240160 in February 2021, MC292797 in October 2021, and MC335273 in February 2022).

Note: If your organization has already taken steps to migrate from TLS 1.0 and 1.1, you can safely disregard this message.
