Microsoft Outlook: New user setting to include a comma in recipient’s contact name

Outlook users will soon have the option to include a comma in a recipient’s contact name, useful for “Last name, First name” formats. This setting will be user-adjustable in Outlook’s “Compose and reply” settings. Rollout begins late February 2025 for Targeted Release and late March 2025 for General Availability. Microsoft Teams: New file path in Microsoft SharePoint for email attachments

Microsoft Teams is updating the storage path for email attachments sent to a channel, storing them in SharePoint under “Documents > Apps > Microsoft Teams Mailhook > [Channel Name].” This change, already rolling out, will be completed by late January 2025 and requires no admin action before completion. Users should be informed of this update.

Updates to AI assistance category in Adoption Score

The Adoption Score page for AI assistance is being updated to include an enhanced score, new usage metrics, time trends, and peer benchmarking. It remains in public preview, with rollout starting mid-January 2025. Admins should be made aware of these changes. Roadmap ID: 185700.

Large Events: End Session for Attendees and Return Presenters to Green Room
