Copilot Chat can now better match search results from Scanned PDFs and from text that appears inside images embedded in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files — such as scanned contracts in Word, screenshots of tables in Excel, or whiteboard photos in PowerPoint — content that was previously difficult to search and find.

You can now control whether meeting invitations are automatically removed from your inbox after you RSVP. Simply to go to settings, calendar, and turn off or on “Delete Invite After RSVP.”

You can now use a work week calendar view on iOS and iPad to focus on the days you work. On iPad, you can select “work week” directly from the view picker. On iOS, you can select work week from the view picker when you rotate your device to landscape. You can choose which days are included in your work week by syncing from your default account or by customizing the days just for your device.

Engage Events will add Broadcast for large-scale events, Meetings-based Events, moderated feeds, and anonymous posting on web and mobile. A new Events Landing Page will unify event engagement before, during, and after events. Rollout begins late April 2026, enabled by default for all Engage customers.

Microsoft will retire Microsoft Defender for Endpoint mobile app versions released before February 2026 on iOS and Android starting May 10, 2026. Older versions will lose cloud connectivity and updates. Administrators must ensure devices update to supported versions to maintain protection and avoid service disruption.

The Outlook Lite app for Android will be fully retired on May 25, 2026, disabling mailbox access but allowing app launch. Users should switch to Microsoft Outlook Mobile, which supports all mailbox features and compliance capabilities. No admin action is required, but users should be notified to transition.

We are announcing Admin Agent in Dynamics 365 Contact Center. This feature will reach public preview on April 24, 2026.
