Microsoft Teams: Roaming bandwidth control

Admins will now be able to set a bandwidth control policy to disable video calls when users are working in bandwidth constrained areas – this protects the reliability of the connection, automatically just based on where the users are located.  Once users return to a location with better bandwidth, their video calling is restored. Initially two settings from the Teams Meeting Policy will be included – AllowIPVideo, and MediaBitRateKb.

SharePoint: Improvements to the authoring experience in SharePoint Pages

We’re making changes to the editing experience for SharePoint pages. This change will make it easier for users to understand where they are in a page by adding labels to each content area. These changes also reduce clutter by consolidating web part editing actions into a single toolbar and placing authors into focus mode by default to remove visual distractions while editing.

View Only Attendee Guidance Update

Microsoft Teams provides several different ways to deliver meeting experiences. Selecting the right option depends on factors like expected attendance numbers and required capabilities. To follow up on an earlier communication (MC282774 -Sept), Microsoft would like to clarify the guidance around which experiences to use for meetings and events above 1,000 users.
