Modern lookup columns

This new feature, Lookup columns, will allow you to connect a list to a column from another list you have on your site. Once connected, you can easily “lookup” other information and include this in your new list. This makes it easy to maintain team-level, centralized lists that contain information you use repeatedly.

Note: You can now create look up columns in modern list and document library UI.

Upcoming change to Power Apps apps within a developer environment

Beginning mid-December, 2021, apps launched in a developer environment will begin displaying a notification that the app is running in a developer environment, and is intended for development and testing purposes.

Update to Mail Flow status summary report

We are bringing an updated view the the Mail Flow status summary report. we will be merging the Funnel view and the Tech view into one consolidated view called the “Mail flow” view.

We believe that with the new view it will be easier for Admins to visualize the flow of emails through our filtering system.

Outlook: Support for “Send As” by default in Groups for Outlook on the web

Now users having “Send As” permission in Groups will see the Group ID getting populated by default in their “From” address while composing or responding to conversations from the corresponding Groups section in mail module.

Outlook: Groups icon change in Outlook on the web

Groups icon inside mail module will be made consistent with the Groups icon available in other Outlook applications. Groups icon inside Outlook web will be changed from current folder icon to Groups icon.

Microsoft Viva: SharePoint Integration

The Knowledge Admin provides a site URL for where the Learning Service can create an empty centralized location – Learning App Content Repository – in the form of a structured SharePoint List. This list can be used by the organization to house links to cross-company SharePoint folders containing learning content. Admins are responsible for collecting and curating a list of URLs for folders. These folders should only include content that can be made available in the Learning app.
