Recommend a learning course to one or more individuals, with options to set a due date for completion and capture additional information via the ‘notes’. For all recommendations, the recommender can view reported completion progress of each of the recommendees. Recomendees can view recommendations made to them along with information of who recommended, notes from the recommender and Due date. As content is consumed, recomendees can update status of the recommendation to in-progress or Completed. Users get notifications for new recommendations, notifications for recommendations approaching due date and notifications for overdue recommendations.

The Planner task notes field will support rendering rich text formatting (bold, italics, underline, and more) and image previews. Users can insert rich text and images into task notes.

Users with edit permissions to a video or audio file uploaded to SharePoint and OneDrive can toggle features, such as transcript and comments, on or off for all viewers of that video.

The daily briefing email- a personalized, actionable briefing email from Microsoft Viva, automatically delivered to your Outlook inbox to help you start the day on track and stay on top of tasks, will be available for Government Community Cloud (GCC).

We’ve updated the site creation experience to make it easier for site creators to select the right type of SharePoint site, understand roles, and site permissions. Updates to this experience include refreshed graphics, expanded site descriptions, and more context for different permission levels in the Site permissions panel.

With Azure Purview, you can now extend the reach of your Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) sensitivity labels and the value from built-in sensitive information types to a much broader set of data locations and data types. Use existing sensitivity labels or create new sensitivity labels via the Microsoft 365 compliance center to extend security and compliance intent to data assets in Azure.

Users will be able to discover engaging learning opportunities by picking and saving their interests. Once interests are saved, learning content based on those interests will show in the Home page in ‘Based on your interest’ section and in the ‘Your interests’ tab in the ‘Browse courses’ section as well. Users will also be able to use their interests to filter learning content in the search results page.

This new feature will provide users the ability to create private drafts for pages and news posts. A private draft will be visible to only the page author, the people the author chooses to share it with, and site admins. Users will be able to create and edit content that’s not ready for others to see except the people with whom users want to collaborate.

We will be retiring the option to search by ID, as it is not functioning to an adequate level and creates significant challenges for organizations who depend on consistent and repeatable results for eDiscovery workflows.
