We are introducing task publishing and reporting features within the Tasks app in Teams. This allows an organization to define the tasks that need to be completed across their frontline locations, choose which locations need to complete those tasks, and track the progress of the work. Frontline managers and workers can use the desktop or mobile Tasks in Teams experience to see the tasks they need to complete, all in one place.

We’ve released updates to the following update channels for Microsoft 365 Apps:

Connectors support in Microsoft Teams is transitioning to a new webhook URL format to enhance security. In the future, connector webhook URLs will contain the name of the tenant in them.
Old URLs continue to work for now, but users will be prompted to re-create connectors.

We are expanding the reach of Microsoft Search in SharePoint; classic team sites that do not have customized search experience will be updated to the modern Microsoft Search experiences that deliver better personalization and relevance.

Two improvements are coming to the Teams feedback submission process. When a user submits feedback, the submission will be automatically reviewed to identify any existing help documentation on the topic. We will then show relevant documentation to the user. In addition, if the Teams administrator enables this feature, users will have the option to share an email address when submitting feedback, which allows Microsoft to follow-up directly.

We are adding our first security recommendation for Microsoft Teams.

The new meeting recap feature in Teams helps meeting attendees and those unable to attend a meeting stay up-to-date by providing the meeting recording, transcript, and chat all in one place. These are automatically shared in the Chat tab and viewable in the Details tab.
