Viva Pulse is expanding its content library with 4 new templates and 53 questions, focusing on team priorities, efficiency, meeting effectiveness, and organizational progress. Rollout starts late June 2024, with completion by early July. Tenant admins should review and manage these additions as needed.

Microsoft Intune will require iOS/iPadOS 16 and higher after the release of iOS/iPadOS 18 later this year. Organizations should check Intune reporting to identify affected devices and users, and review Apple documentation for supported models. Userless devices have specific support changes. Preparation steps are provided.

Intune will support macOS 13 and higher later this year, coinciding with the release of macOS 15 Sequoia. Devices on macOS 12.x or below will remain enrolled but won’t be able to enroll new devices. Organizations should prepare by upgrading devices to a supported OS version.

Microsoft Teams users will be notified when their admin unblocks a requested app, allowing immediate installation and use. This update, associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 389151, will roll out between early and late July 2024 with no admin action required.

The Microsoft Intune In Development page for June 2024 has been updated with a list of upcoming features. IT staff should be informed to prepare for these changes, which will start appearing in the next month or in a subsequent release.

Starting mid-July 2024, legacy Outlook clients will be retired, affecting users with outdated versions on iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows Mail and Calendar applications. From mid-August, outdated browsers will receive an error on Outlook web. Users must update to the latest versions for continued functionality and support.


Microsoft Viva Insights will soon allow leaders to delegate access to their Copilot Dashboard to designated individuals within their company. This feature will enable delegates to view insights and make informed decisions, without seeing the leader’s personal insights. It will be available on various platforms and is associated with Roadmap ID 398976. Rollout begins late June 2024. Admins can manage access with policies, and the feature is enabled by default. Organizations should prepare by reviewing the impact and updating documentation accordingly.
