Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management is introducing granular trigger throttling limits in a public preview by late May 2024, with general availability in late December 2024. This update aims to prevent policy interference from high trigger volumes, setting daily limits for sensitive and other triggers, and enhancing policy health warning messages. No preparation is needed from users.

The DiscoverPageContextEnabled policy for controlling page context in Microsoft Copilot in Edge will be retired in July 2024. It will be replaced by two new policies, CopilotPageContext and CopilotCDPPageContext, which allow administrators to manage browser context access for Copilot. Existing settings will not be migrated and the new policies are unconfigured by default. Administrators should set new configurations before July 25, 2024, to avoid interruptions.
The permissions for accessing Email & Collaboration schema in Advanced Hunting for Microsoft Defender for Office 365 are updated to align with Threat Explorer. Changes will roll out in May 2024, affecting security teams with specific roles. Organizations must assign new permissions to maintain access to the schema.
The ‘Modern Workplace – Autopatch Client Setup’ script is being upgraded to version 1.2 starting June 3, 2024, with improvements and a technical cleanup.
