Microsoft Teams Paging on Video Gallery

When you are in gallery view, and there are more videos than what can be shown at once on the meeting stage (the maximum number can vary depending on your device configuration, internet bandwidth and whether content is being shared), navigation controls will appear to see additional videos of the attendees. You can use these controls to view more video participants.

Net Promoter Score (NPS) Sentiment Insights Per Topic Available to IT Administrators

To empower IT Admins like you, the Net Promoter Score (NPS) survey insights dashboard released a new feature under the sentiment section.

With this new feature, you will be able to identify the sentiment that is associated to each topic available. The sentiment is calculated for each NPS feedback comment and tied to a specific topic. With this new addition, you can discover what are the trending topics your users are talking about and understand the feeling they are experiencing regarding that specific topic.

2×2 Video in Gallery View for Web Meetings in Firefox

Gallery view now can show up to 4 participant videos during a meeting in Firefox browser. Users can also start streaming their own video for the rest of the meeting participants.

Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance: Ability to exclude bulk email (preview)

Coming soon to public preview, Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance policies will allow filtering of bulk emails such as newsletters to help customers reduce noise and false positives. The setting can be configured at the per-policy level.

Stories available for public preview in Yammer and Microsoft Viva Engage beginning early November

Beginning in early November, Yammer Network and Verified Admins will be able to opt into the public preview of stories for Microsoft Viva Engage and Yammer, via a toggle control in Yammer.

Stories build on the benefits of Storyline by allowing users to share short videos or photos that deliver a familiar, delightful way to catch up and stay connected with people you work with and interesting people across the organization. Create or upload a story on your storyline to share a quick update, capture an experience, express yourself, or amplify existing content.

Sign Language View

We are introducing a new Sign Language experience in Teams Meetings to help meeting participants who use sign language to prioritize interpreters and other sign language users so that they remain visible in in a static, central location on the meeting stage, with higher video quality. Specific sign language users inside the organization that you work with regularly – such as regular interpreters – can be prioritized across all meetings by adding them to a prioritized signer list under Settings > Accessibility in the Teams app. Sign language view is a personal, user-level setting, and is visible only for those who have turned it on. It will not be shown to the rest of the meeting participants. The feature is presently available only on Teams Desktop.
