A new desktop experience is being released for Viva Connections that’s easier and faster to set up and optimizes content to deliver a modern employee experience. The new Viva Connections desktop design serves as a new home experience option that centers essential job tasks, personalized content, easy access to other Viva experiences, and better aligns with the mobile experience.
The focus time experience in Microsoft Teams is being enhanced for users with Viva Insights subscriptions. Users that have booked time through focus plan will receive a notification as their focus time nears. Upon clicking the notification, the user will enter a new focus mode experience. Focus mode will allow users to set a timer to balance short bursts of productivity with breaks, manage their task list, and tap into mindfulness exercises during their breaks.

On October 12, 2022 at Microsoft Ignite we announced that the Office app for web (office.com), Windows, iOS, and Android will be rebranded to become the Microsoft 365 app. In the coming months, these apps will automatically update to the Microsoft 365 app, which will include a new icon, styling, and features.

We are releasing a new Message Recall for Exchange Online feature that will recall messages that are flagged as “read” – the classic Message Recall in Outlook doesn’t recall read messages. Before we release the new feature, we want to let you know that tenant admins now have the option to disable the recalling of read messages for your organization.

The Payments app in the Microsoft Teams app store will help you to get paid by customers for appointments, classes, or events hosted on Teams. The Payments app is free to use with your Teams or M365 subscription as a tool for small businesses – or businesses of any size – looking to grow their revenue. At launch, the app will only be supported for businesses registered in the United States and Canada.
The Microsoft Teams admin center provides an ability to admins to view the list of users and groups that are assigned to a policy. This capability will help admins to better manage policies and get an understanding of which policies are in use and are assigned to whom all.

With reactions in Outlook, you can now react to an email message sent from someone in the same tenant without having to send a reply email. Show your appreciation and empathy with one click or tap.
Users will see a reactions icon (a face) in a message for any messages sent from someone inside the same tenant. They can hover over or tap it to see all of the possible reactions to select from.
An automatic browser screen will now launch for users when an incoming PSTN call is accepted in Microsoft Teams. The browser screen will display relevant information to the user (CRM data, case data, etc.).
