Microsoft Purview introduces new Copilot security controls in Microsoft Admin Center, enabling admins to create DLP policies, monitor oversharing risks, and protect sensitive data in Copilot. Public preview starts November 2025; general availability in January 2026. Admin roles required for policy management and compliance.
Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android will support starting, stopping, and restarting meeting recording and transcription directly from the device with Teams Rooms Pro licensing, rolling out December 2025. Permissions are required, and some call types are unsupported. Recordings are stored in the organizer’s OneDrive or SharePoint.
Microsoft Purview DLP in Edge for Business will extend inline protections to more unmanaged GenAI apps, allowing admins to apply existing data loss prevention policies on Intune-managed Windows devices. This update, requiring no extra deployment, enhances data security and compliance reporting starting public preview in November 2025.
The HubSpot connector allows users using the Researcher agent to be able to leverage 3rd party information from HubSpot to enrich generated responses with relevant information.
1. Makers can now scope their data in their agent created on custom connector data at a particular container.
2. These containers will be defined during creation/updating of the custom connector.
Customers can connect M365 Copilot with Adobe Experience Manager Assets to retrieve marketing and creative assets with Copilot Connector.
Stay connected to your team’s engagement with Viva Insights Workplace Metrics, available alongside your survey results in Viva Glint. Between survey cycles, leaders and managers can use these continuous, real-time metrics to see how their team is working and evaluate whether actions they are taking to improve engagement are having the desired impact. This feature currently supports work-life balance and collaboration metrics, with more areas planned in the future.
Code interpreter runs on files you upload in your agent or that the user explicitly attaches in the interaction. Files that Copilot Chat finds via enterprise search can be now analyzed by code interpreter without the need to explicitly link or upload them.
Updating analytics related to frequent contributors to include more metrics and an enhanced design.
Users can now preview PDFs directly in the Outlook for Android app.
