This feature is for VBA developers who use Office fixed format export functions to create PDFs from documents with sensitivity labels and encryption. By default, all PDFs created using Office’s fixed format export functions will automatically inherit the source document’s label or encryption. Some VBA add-ins may need to be updated to avoid issues when post-processing an encrypted PDF.

With updates coming in January, users with Viva Insights subscriptions who send praise will have the ability to share a copy of the praise with others. Shared recipients will be notified via Teams and can see praise details in the Microsoft Viva Insights app in Teams.

Sensitivity labels are used to classify and protect your organization’s data. These labels are completely customizable, and admins can apply a label to a specific file based on the organization needs. We’ve now added sensitivity labels inside the Sharing dialog, to provide you the ability to see what labels have been applied to your files prior to sharing them.

Starting on January 10, 2023, support for the “Submit as a template” button will no longer be available. This functionality enables users to submit flow templates as candidates for Power Automate’s public template gallery. As a result, users will no longer be able to submit their flows as templates using the “Submit as template” button.

Coming soon to public preview, Communication Compliance will support Azure Cognitive Services text analysis, helping customers’ compliance managers prioritize and investigate alerts related to violations of their organizations’ defined regulatory requirements. Using Azure Cognitive Services, this update helps investigation of potential regulatory incidents by providing customers more context. Only messages that have already triggered an alert in an existing Communication Compliance policy will be analyzed.
