We’re rolling out new features to support enhanced policy management for the Communication Compliance solution in the Microsoft 365 compliance center.

This new release will enable some Windows 10 users, who are using Outlook on the web or Outlook for Windows, to see a clickable recommendation to visit the browser extension page for Outlook in Edge where they can choose to install the extension. This notification will be displayed in any Windows browser (i.e., Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.) and in Outlook for Windows.
Note: If you do not want your users to see the recommendations for the new Microsoft Outlook Extension for Edge, you can opt-out of these for your organization.

Until now, retention policies for Teams channel messages have excluded any private channel messages. With this new feature you will be able to apply retention policies to user messages shared within Teams private channels.
Retention policies scoped to private channel messages will require a separate policy from your Teams channels or chat policies.
At the bottom of the Share Dialog, the “Shared with” list of people will give you an at-a glance view of everyone you’ve given access to a file. This change should make it easier to know who has access and how many people have access to your files. Clicking on the “Shared With” list will lead you to the Manage Access view. Sending a file via the Share Dialog should also return a visual confirmation of who you’ve just sent it to.

This Microsoft Teams release will allow meetings to start recording automatically when they are set to auto-record in meeting options. This will benefit users who forget to hit the record button for crucial meetings. This is rolling out on desktop, mobile and web.

We’ve released updates to the following update channel for Microsoft 365 Apps:
Your lists now automatically sync to your Windows device, improving performance when you work with your lists and allowing you to continue your work even when you’re offline or lose your internet connection.
You can now install the web version of Microsoft Lists as a Progressive Web App (PWA) in Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox or other browser that supports Progressive Web Apps (with the exception of Safari). After you install the web version of Microsoft Lists as a Progressive Web App, you can launch it from your desktop, and it will work the same way as it does in your web browser. it will work similarly to any stand-alone desktop application.
