We are introducing a new option for the action that can be taken on an item at the end of its retention period. This feature will enable you to manage the lifecycle of an item by specifying different retention settings for each phase of an item’s lifecycle.

Handoff is a capability within Apple devices that transfers user activities among multiple devices associated with the same user. For Outlook, this means that introducing this feature will allow a user to start off on an activity like read or compose within Outlook on one Apple device (Mac/Mobile) and be able to continue that activity from its current point on Outlook on another Apple device (Mac/Mobile).
