Answers badges are coming to Viva Engage! People can get recognized by their colleagues through the Answers feature based on the upvotes their questions or answers have earned, or if their answers were marked as the best answer.

Microsoft Teams Shifts connector for UKG Dimensions is now generally available. This bi-directional, near real-time connector provides a single, seamless interface to simplify scheduling.

Next month, new experiences will be available within Viva Engage for Microsoft Viva customers.

Audience Analytics, part of Viva Engage premium, will enable users identified as leaders have access sentiment analysis features powered by Azure Cognitive Services (ACS).
Sentiment in your audience uses ACS sentiment analysis to understand the aggregate sentiment across all public posts and comments on storyline and in communities written by members of the leader’s defined audience.
Video Filters are a new feature in Microsoft Teams meetings that will allow participants to augment their video stream with visual effects, such as frames and styles. These filters are built on the Teams Platform infrastructure and provided by Microsoft first- and third-party partners as apps and displayed as a collection of filters.

With File Request feature in SharePoint Document Library, users have an easy and secure way to request and obtain files from anyone. Users can choose a folder in SharePoint Document Library where others can upload files using a link that is shared with them. Users you request files from can only upload files; they can’t see the content of the folder, edit, delete, or download files, or even see who else has uploaded files.

Note: Customer tenants will need to be in Native Mode (Yammer Native Mode: step-by-step guide) and require Yammer topics being migrated to Viva Topics (Viva Topics experience in Yammer).
Microsoft Stream is releasing the Analytics plugin within the web player experience. Users can see the total Views and Viewer counts of the video over 7, 30, 90 days and an all-time count using line graphs on the plugin panel. They can also see and interact with the viewership retention chart on top of the video playback experience.
Video owners and editors can disable the plugin for users with ‘view only’ permissions.

The General Availability of Viva Topics for Yammer experiences enables us to leverage a more robust and secure infrastructure for Topics. It also enables organizations to use these Topics outside of Yammer (for example, Topics can be tagged in Teams chats or in Outlook messages).
